Position Overview Th e Senior Maintenance Technician is a key member of the maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and facility systems. This role involves performing both reactive and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximize uptime and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Re spond promptly to reactive maintenance calls to diagnose and repair equipment issues. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facility and production machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems to ensure reliable operation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipment. Manage and track parts inventory, including fabrication and repair of components as needed. Operate and maintain shop tools, hand tools, and equipment provided by Client. Support production teams by ensuring equipment availability and reliability. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve processes and reduce downtime. Mandatory Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Proficiency with hand tools and shop equipment. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting knowledge. Electrical/controls troubleshooting training or experience. Basic machine shop skills (mill, lathe, drill press, welding, parts fabrication). Ability to work in dusty environments and climb stairs/ladders near moving conveyors. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Must be at least 18 years old, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and for John Middleton Company. Willingness to work B or C shifts, mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays. High school diploma or GED required. Reliable attendance and a willingness to learn and grow. Preferred Qualifications Mec hatronics or similar technical education. General mechanic/maintenance experience with training certificate or technical degree. Machine shop, welding, or metal fabrication experience. Electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair experience. Rigging or lifting equipment operator experience. Education: High School
