Accounts Receivable SpecialistOur growing client has an immediate need for an Accounts Receivable Specialist!Responsibilities:Timely collection of open balances via phone, fax and/or emailAnalyze, reconcile, research open past due balancesWork closely with all departments including Cash Application and Customer Service to resolve past due issuesManage multiple Clients accounts receivable ledgersTrack, research, analyze and resolve outstanding balances issues utilizing ERP SoftwareParticipate in month-end close processes to timely deliver Month End financial statementsSeek continuous improvement by implementing ideas to streamline AR processing proceduresWork with Clients and Customers to resolve any billing/invoicing issuesDevelop and maintain a positive and professional relationship with Clients and CustomersWork with Clients to resolve customer credit hold issuesAttend bi-weekly/monthly meetings with external Clients to review aging status with Account ManagerMeet departmental and individual goals including schedule adherence, percent current, documentation, attendance and call qualityAccountable to maintain all accounts on an up-to-date basis status to ensure "clean" audits by internal and outside auditors.Qualifications and Job Specifications:Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related field1 to 2 years of related experienceExcellent computer skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level)Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus – not requiredPassion for providing outstanding resultsExceptional interpersonal skillsOutstanding research skillsSound decision making and negotiation skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong Organizational skillsTechnical Expertise:Navigate through ERP systemsRetrieve and analyze data via Report WriterAnalyze data from disparate systemsAccurately key data into systems10 key with 95% accuracy (will be tested)Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel (including Pivot Tables), PowerPoint
