Field Service Engineer I Location: US-CA-San Diego Job ID: 2026-11328 Salary Statement Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $57,950.00/Yr. - USD $96,550.00/Yr. Description Assisting in the fabrication and integration of C4ISR systems into multiple variants of ship vessels (Navy & MSC) Assisting technical staff members in the fabrication, integration, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical circuits Providing feedback to production management and QA with identified issues/defects in design or during the fabrication/integration phase with regards to cables or equipment racks Performing on-site installation of equipment and products in the continental United States within various environments to include Naval Bases and privately owned shipyards Requirements 0-5 years of related C4I Shipboard System and new construction experience Experience installing/running cables and dressing/banding shipboard cableways IAW NAVSEA standards and practices Experience in hardwiring lighting, terminal/sym boxes, and building Mil Std connectors Ability to read, interpret, and understand shipboard provided installation documentation OSHA 10 Maritime - Active Certification (must be able to provided photo copy) Desired Skills Seeking experience with RF, Heliax, Cat 5/6, & Multi-pin MIL-STD connectors; desire technicians with experience building MIL-STD series M28840, D38999, M24308, MS3456, or MS3476 connectors Experience installing cables, electronic equipment, and/or C4I systems onboard Navy and MSC vessels within a shipyard or US Naval base environment, class ships to include but not limited to: CVN, LPD, LHA, DDG, or T-AO Active Fiber Optic Certifications for handling, terminating, testing, or QA/Supervision Clearance Information SRC is a contractor for the U.S. Government. This position will require U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level.
