As an LVN at our 128-bed skilled nursing rehabilitation center, you will work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse to implement the established plan of care for each assigned group of residents. Key Responsibilities Provide total care for chronically ill and technologically dependent residents, including administration of medications and treatments Assist with the planning, coordination, and provision of individualized resident care in accordance with established policies and procedures Collaborate with all levels of nursing personnel, consultants, physicians, and department managers to ensure high-quality care Provide resident assessment-related education and documentation Maintain accurate and thorough records of resident care Requirements Current, valid Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure to practice in the State of California Current Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS) certification LVN graduate from an accredited School of Nursing At least six months prior LVN experience in a general acute care hospital setting or acquired equivalent competency Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information, and to be easily understood through verbal communication in the English language Work Environment 128-bed skilled nursing rehabilitation center in Walnut Creek, CA Quiet and intimate environment with a focus on providing superior quality of care Modern and innovative rehabilitation room with expert clinicians and therapists Benefits Competitive hourly rate: $36-38 per hour depending on experience Per-diem schedule offering flexibility and autonomy Opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team of healthcare professionals #J-18808-Ljbffr
