Apply Now!Our client is a full-service provider of superior sheet metal components and assemblies specializing in prototyping, manufacturing parts, engineering assistance, or low volume production in the automotive and aerospace industries.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Shipping and Receiving Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 to $ 23.00 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)As a Shipping and Receiving attendant in a dynamic shop environment, this role is essential to our production process, encompassing a variety of tasks from precise assembly to efficient shipping and receiving operations.Key Responsibilities:Execute shipping and receiving duties, which include unloading and loading materials, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices, and organizing inventory within the shop.Accurately package finished parts for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, protection, and adherence to packing standards.Conduct basic quality checks on assembled components and packaged products to maintain quality standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and contribute to the overall cleanliness and safety of the shop environment.Shipping and Receiving Qualifications:Required Qualifications:Previous experience in shipping and receiving within an assembly, manufacturing, or a related production role.Experience performing general laborer duties in a fast-paced environment.Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
