Corporate Development - CoBrand & Network Partnerships - Senior Associate

The Corporate Development team at Chase is responsible for the partnerships and strategies at the heart of the most important business decisions across the consumer franchise. Within Corporate Development, the Co-brand and Network Partnerships team is responsible for end-to-end negotiations with existing partners like Amazon, Disney, United, Marriott, and Southwest, as well as future prospects, and the major payment networks, Visa and Mastercard. JP Morgan Chase is the number one U.S. credit card issuer and has been in the cobrand partnership business for approximately 40 years with partners who are leaders in their respective categories. In this role you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to important strategies and partnerships with the major payment networks across the consumer franchise.As a Senior Associate on the Corporate Development Co-brand & Network Partnerships team in the Consumer & Community Bank (CCB), you will think strategically, build relationships with cross-functional teams, and produce and present key deliverables. You are innovative, forward-thinking, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment alongside JP Morgan Chase's management team to build and deliver solutions that drive JP Morgan Chase forward.Job ResponsibilitiesWork cross-functionally within the firm and with external payment network partners to identify, negotiate, and execute key network partnerships that drive business results and support the business strategyCollaboratively develop partnership strategy with the lines of business, including identifying key elements of the strategy, completing analysis, conducting research, and making recommendationsSupport the development of partner proposals with the lines of business, including vision, economics, and product integrationWork in conjunction with finance, legal, and other functional partners to craft financial business cases, deal constructs and other key terms associated with the partnershipMonitor the external environment for important competitive developments and potential partnership opportunities, synthesizing key learnings for leadershipEnsure all deals and business development is executed in accordance with policies, controls, and Corporate Development procedures Required Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsBachelor's degree5+ years of relevant experienceDeep analytical skills, including understanding of common financial statements and the ability to build financial models in ExcelEffective written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate to senior internal and external stakeholdersStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsExperience with co-brand dealsExperience across the financial services and banking industryManagement consulting experienceChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
