Caregiver – Dementia Experience Preferred

Oasis In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver for a 4-hour shift in the morning starting at 7:00 am until 11:00 am Monday - Friday and a 4-hour shift in the evening starting at 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday - Friday in the Dover, TN area.

This position supports a client with dementia behaviors , so experience with redirection, reassurance, and managing agitation is strongly preferred. The caregiver will help maintain a calm and safe home environment while supporting the client’s dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Mobility support for a fall-risk client

• Toileting and hygiene assistance as needed

• Dementia care, redirection, and reassurance

• Light housekeeping

• Monitoring and reporting changes in condition

• Companionship and emotional support

Qualifications

• Caregiving or healthcare experience preferred

• Dementia care experience strongly preferred

• Ability to assist with mobility

• Must pass background check and drug screening

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
