We are looking for a Business Immigration Paralegal to support employment-based immigration matters in our Services practice in Connecticut. This opportunity is well suited for someone with entry-level experience who is organized, attentive to detail, and interested in building deeper knowledge in a collaborative legal environment. The role involves partnering with attorneys and clients to prepare case materials, track filings, and help move matters forward accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant filings, including visa petitions and permanent residence applications, with guidance from attorneys.
• Draft immigration forms, client communications, and supporting case documents while helping ensure filings meet regulatory and procedural requirements.
• Assist with legal research and contribute to case preparation for business immigration matters involving corporate clients.
• Track deadlines, monitor active matters, and follow up with clients to collect required information and provide timely status updates.
• Communicate with relevant government agencies to check case progress and help address routine filing or processing issues as assigned.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical case records, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and handled with a high level of confidentiality.• At least 1 year of experience supporting business immigration matters in a law firm or services setting.
• Working knowledge of employment-based immigration processes and related case documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, and external agencies.
• Proficiency in organizing case files and using case management or legal support software.
• Strong judgment in handling sensitive information with discretion.
