We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who knows the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction Management (AEC) industry. This is a full-cycle recruiting role with real ownership: you will drive hiring across Morgner's active Construction Management and Staff Augmentation contracts, build pipelines for upcoming pursuits, and be an integral part of how we staff and grow the firm. You will work directly with VP-level leadership and project managers to understand staffing needs in real time, move quickly on priority hires, and bring structure to a recruiting function that is scaling with the business. Beyond core recruiting, you will also support onboarding coordination, pre-employment training, and related administrative functions that keep our field teams operational from day one. Key Responsibilities: Own the end-to-end recruiting process for CM contract roles including Construction Inspectors, Resident Engineers, Office Engineers, Document Control, Project Controls, Safety Officers, and other positions Partner with hiring managers to develop role-specific job descriptions, define scoring criteria, and align on timelines and compensation ranges Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards (Indeed, Glassdoor, iHireConstruction, ENR job board), professional associations (CMAA, APWA), and direct outreach to passive candidates Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications, certifications, availability, and culture fit Coordinate interviews, gather structured feedback from hiring managers, and manage candidate communication throughout the process. Prepare and format resumes for submittal following specific resume format or templates. Submittal of resumes by specific deadlines. Assist with offer letters; negotiate compensation and start dates in coordination with HR and leadership Maintain accuracy in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); generate recruiting reports and pipeline updates for management. Assist and prepare agendas for staffing updates meetings. Market & Contract Staffing Develop and maintain pipelines for recurring contract roles across Morgner's active and upcoming CM pursuits in the Washington, Hawaii, California and other States markets Track project award timelines and proactively begin sourcing ahead of mobilization needs Build a working knowledge of public agency requirements, DBE/EEO goals, and contract-specific staffing parameters that affect hiring on government CM projects Stay current on the Seattle, Puget Sound, and LA labor markets for construction and engineering talent - know where talent pools are, what they expect, and how to reach them Assist with exclusivity agreements, resume preparation and submissions, and other agency-required documentation for staffed personnel Onboarding & Project Site Access Assist & Coordinate onboarding logistics for new hires across active project sites, including badging, background checks, site‑specific safety orientations, and required documentation Assist project teams, and HR to ensure new field staff are cleared and operational on day one Prepare and track new hire paperwork, personnel action forms, and compliance documentation in coordination with HR Assist in maintaining records of certifications, OSHA cards, flagging cards, and other field credentials across the project workforce Recruitment Operations & Strategy Identify and evaluate new sourcing channels, platforms, and recruiting strategies relevant to the AEC and CM space Participate in team kick‑off meetings, project planning conversations, and business development briefings to stay ahead of hiring needs Maintain tracking sheets, pipelines, and status reports; provide regular recruiting updates to VP‑level stakeholders Support proposal efforts by providing staffing data, candidate availability information, and labor market intel when requested Qualifications: 3–5 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience within the AEC, construction management, or infrastructure sector Demonstrated experience hiring for field and technical roles: inspectors, engineers, project controls, document control, safety, and similar CM contract positions Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, AI tools, and major job boards; comfort evaluating and testing new sourcing platforms Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously without missing deadlines. Clear, professional written and verbal communication — you can represent Morgner well to candidates and hiring managers alike Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Experience using InDesign and other Adobe Creative Cloud (preferred) Strongly Preferred Experience recruiting for public agency or government‑contracted CM work (transit, utilities, municipalities, airports) Working knowledge of the Seattle/Puget Sound and/or Los Angeles construction labor markets - familiarity with key agencies, active programs, and candidate pools in those regions Knowledge of field certifications relevant to hiring decisions Exposure to DBE, EEO, and workforce compliance requirements on public construction contracts #J-18808-Ljbffr Morgner Construction Management Corp.
