This is a 32hr guarantee cataract experience required for this need. Non-negotiable.

Patient population: Adult and Geriatric

The Clinical Nurse is a key member of the surgical team who functions in a circulating and scrubbing capacity. Services lines we provide include: General surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain and endoscopy procedures. Our nurses provide specialized care for all these services. The Surgical Services department has 2 operating rooms and a procedure room. We provide mostly outpatient procedures with limited inpatient. We provide care to patients ages 16 and older.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Local Travelers - Those who reside within 50 miles of the facility - are not eligible for this need.

This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.

Travelers may not take all holidays off. MUST work TWO blocks (if scheduled/needed):

Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after

Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after

New Year Eve through New Year Day and weekend after

RequirementDescription: CATARACT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS NEED. NON-NEGOTIABLE

• Minimum 2-5 year of experience - Required
• Scrubbing and Circulating experience - Required - BOTH specialty skill checklists MUST be in profile to move forward with presenting to client
• Experience working in a smaller OR facility - Required
• Phase I/PACU experience - Required
• MULTIPLE SURGICAL EXPERIENCE - Required
• CERNER EMR EXPERIENCE - Required
• Travel experience - Highly preferred
• BSN preferred

• Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer

NOTE MT ASCUTNEY 3 STRIKE RULE FOR CALL OFFS (enforced immediately):

• After 3 call offs, a traveler's contract will be eligible for termination due to lack of attendance at Mt Ascutney Hospital and Health Center's discretion
• Each call off must be communicated to the unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance
