Role Description The Dispatcher 2/Logistics Coordinator is a full‑time (temporarily remote) but ultimately on‑site role in Ocala, FL. The right candidate will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day transportation scheduling and dispatch operations. Bilingual preferred. This position works alongside our Dispatcher 1/Intake Dispatcher and coordinates routes and trip assignments for drivers, ensuring efficient use of vehicles and timely arrival for patient pick‑ups and drop‑offs. The Dispatcher 2/Logistics Coordinator monitors daily schedules, adjusts plans for last‑minute changes, and communicates clearly with drivers and healthcare facilities. Preferred Qualifications Location: Must work on‑site in Ocala, FL. Analytical Skills: Ability to manage schedules, optimize routes, and resolve logistical issues efficiently. Communication: Clear coordination with drivers, patients, facilities, and internal teams. Customer Service: Proven ability to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and support drivers. Experience: Background in transportation, logistics, or healthcare preferred (not required). Tech Skills: Proficient with scheduling software, VoIP, and basic computer applications.
