Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Requirements & Responsibilities Support and mange the mechanical design during the design phase. Mechanical design & documentation for new production launches and existing Myotek products Run CATIA or NX CAD for Electromechanical packaging and Class A Surface Modeling Component and assembly level modeling DFM – design for manufacturing for injection molding, die-casting, assembly 2D prints with GD&T, revision control & BOM management Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred Minimum 3 years experience in design for Plastic Molding and DFM Proficient in NX and/or Catia V5 Minimum 3 years experience designing with automotive optical layouts. Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and technical presentations Strong organizational skills and ability to manage program timelines Must be proficient in Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint General understanding of "Design for Manufacturing" & "Design for 6 Sigma" Knowledge of GD&T, Tooling and Gauge/Fixture requirements General knowledge of Team Center or PDM software Detail oriented, hard worker with the ability to work effectively in a fast past environment with minimal supervision #J-18808-Ljbffr
