Patient Service Representative

Position Title Patient Service Representative (PSR) – Flexible Position. Preferred candidates include RN, EMT, Paramedic, EMS, Firefighter, PA, MA, Phlebotomy, RCIS, CVT, EKG Technician, etc. All candidates are reviewed individually. Summary Description ZOLL, manufacturer of the LifeVest wearable defibrillator, is seeking a Patient Service Representative as an independent contract worker to train patients on the use of the LifeVest. The LifeVest wearable defibrillator is worn by patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), providing protection during their changing condition. It is lightweight and easy to wear, allowing patients to return to their daily activities while having peace of mind that they are protected from SCA. This is an opportunity for the health professional with patient care and teaching experience to supplement income. A typical LifeVest patient is in the hospital awaiting discharge, and the PSR sets up the equipment and trains the patient and caregivers. PSRs follow up with patients as needed to ensure understanding and satisfaction. PSRs retain flexibility to accept or decline assignments as schedules dictate. Most assignments can be scheduled during free time—before/after work and on days off. Responsibilities Manage equipment and garment inventory Contact caregivers and family to schedule fittings Schedule appointments in evenings and weekends as required Travel to patients' homes for fittings or follow‑up visits Disclose any family relationship with potential referral sources Program equipment according to prescribing physician's orders Measure patients and determine correct garment size Train patients and other caregivers in the use of the LifeVest Obtain patient signature on a Patient Agreement and WEAR Checklist Fax the signed documents to ZOLL within 24 hours of the assignment Qualifications At least 1 year of patient care experience (professional, not family caregiver) Experience must be documented on resume Will disclose personal NPI number if applicable Valid driver’s license and car insurance Willing to pay for additional training and vendor credentials (e.g., DME/RepTrax); fees are not paid by ZOLL #J-18808-Ljbffr
