Physical Therapist Assistant Full-Time

We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our physical therapy team in providing hands-on, patient-focused care. The PTA will assist with therapeutic exercises and treatments, monitor patient progress, document care, and help patients safely work toward their rehabilitation goals.

Key responsibilities include guiding, instructing, and motivating patients through prescribed exercises and functional activities; providing therapeutic exercises, manual treatments, massage, and appropriate physical therapy modalities; monitoring patients during treatment and communicating progress and concerns to the Physical Therapist; measuring range of motion, vital signs, and other treatment-related indicators; assisting patients with transfers, positioning, and use of therapy equipment; fitting and instructing patients on supportive devices such as braces and crutches; maintaining accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress; communicating with patients, caregivers, and members of the healthcare team; following established treatment plans and applicable standards of care; and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications required include an associate's degree or certification from an accredited physical therapy program with appropriate coursework and clinical experience, at least 1 year of experience as a physical therapy aide, strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organization and attention to detail, strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software, and the ability to remain calm and effective in emergency or challenging situations.
