Job Summary The Account Manager directly oversees one Towne Park account at Tier 1 or 2 and is responsible for account performance in financial, guest/patient satisfaction, and client satisfaction objectives. Duties and Responsibilities Financial and Business Systems Management Understand and drive business metrics and performance measurements to ensure effectiveness, high performance and compliance. Improve financial performance and profitability of the account. Recognise ways to maximise contractual opportunities. Move metrics for forecasting, productivity, claims, customer service, and turnover positively. Manage scheduling, overtime, tip reporting and timekeeping for associates under direct supervision. Ensure timely and accurate forecasts, payroll and accounting reports. Utilize standardized business systems and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures. Human Resources Actively engage in recruitment and hiring to select the best people for the location. Foster an environment that retains talented associates. Respond proactively to associate feedback, surveys and exit interviews. Provide orientation, on‑the‑job training and recognise great performance. Train, coach and develop future leaders; conduct performance appraisals. Hold effective associate meetings and ensure shift huddles occur on every shift. Practice positive discipline and maintain accurate performance documentation. Service Management Deliver guest/patient service consistently on all shifts. Allocate labor resources efficiently to support service delivery. Forecast and plan for seasonal variances in collaboration with Area/District Manager and Human Resources. Integrate client service standards and Drive results with Towne Park’s metrics. Client Relations Management Build cohesive working relationships with client staff. Maintain regular meeting rhythms and communication channels with the client. Ensure high visibility and focus on exceeding client expectations. Capitalize on opportunities to grow Towne Park’s business and build client loyalty. Systems and Standards Fully understand and utilize company systems to control assets and expenditures. Train others or ensure proper training on systems. Maintain a clean, neat work environment and complete tasks timely. Cooperate with management and coworkers to meet customer needs. Treat clients and associates with courtesy, respect and dignity. Maintain strict confidentiality of associate and client information. Safety and Risk Management Understand and follow safety and security procedures. Practice preventative safety procedures and report accidents promptly. Use only trained equipment and operate it safely. Ensure associates are trained in safety and loss‑prevention procedures. Report claims promptly and cooperate with Risk Management. Follow the progressive disciplinary process for safety violations. Respond promptly to workplace safety concerns and report injuries. Sales Responsibilities Maintain relationships with existing clients to obtain references and leads. Advises Leadership and Sales on ownership, management or brand changes. Monitor client business for construction, expansion or other growth opportunities. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Effectively plan, prioritise and manage multiple complex projects under pressure. Demonstrate work ethic, drive, energy and persistence to achieve goals. Maintain stability, dependability and professionalism in changing situations. Computer proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and point‑of‑sale applications. Write and verbal communication skills for all organisational levels. Represent the company effectively in diverse settings with cultural appreciation. Read, analyse and interpret general business policies, procedures and corporate communications. Compose professional internal and external business communications including reports, memos, letters and e‑mails. Qualifications Associate’s degree preferred and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination. Knowledge of general business practices including accounting, human resources and customer service. Must be able to drive a manual transmission, hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record. For insurance purposes, must be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background, MVR and drug screen. Compensation Competitive, fair and commensurate with experience. The annual base pay range for this position is $90,000–$100,000. Relocation package may be considered. Additional incentive bonuses possible based on classification and policy guidelines. Eligibility requirements apply. Physical Demands and Work Environment Required to run, stand, walk, sit, handle objects and reach with hands and arms. Must lift, move or push up to 75 pounds, pull up to 100 pounds, and may have to perform wheelchair work of 100–350 pounds over distances. Working extended hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required. Travel up to 10% may be required.
