Education/Experience/Training/Certifications At minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent (18+ years of age) Experience in customer service, preferably in a busy atmosphere, and typing knowledge Strong organizational and communication skills, friendly, outgoing, accurate, neat, dependable, and a self‑starter. Job Duties & Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service to members and guests through greeting, managing and addressing member concerns, and answering phones Maintains a neat, organized work area while engaging with members and families as you direct them to programs and activities Builds a positive first impression with a warm smile and personal greeting for all who encounter the YMCA by upholding the YMCA core values Performs other assigned duties as directed by Supervisor Abilities & Skills Ability to participate in all physical aspects of the position. Ability to sit and stand from a seated position when interacting with members.
