Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced (Pleasant Prairie, WI) Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Minimum 1 plus years of Security experience OR prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required Job Schedule: Thursday 01:30 PM – 09:30 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location. Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for occupants and guests. Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or first responders regarding security‑related issues, alarms, and site conditions as needed. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
