The Adult Caregiver provides personal care assistance, complex daily support, dementia or memory care, companionship, and homemaking. Reporting to the agency supervisor, this role supports clients’ daily needs while promoting safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Prepare meals and provide household support.
• Offer medication reminders and support medication management routines.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
• Provide companionship and support for clients with dementia or memory-care needs.
• Monitor client safety and respond appropriately to changing needs or emergencies.
• Assist with appointments and communicate with family members or healthcare providers as needed.
• Complete daily care notes and incident reports for each shift.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in adult caregiving.
• Experience providing activities of daily living assistance and complex daily support.
• Knowledge of medication management and safe transfer techniques.
• Experience with mobility support and dementia care.
• Emergency response skills.
• Strong communication, empathy, and observation skills.
