Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in the Pediatrics specialty for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and expertise to provide high-quality care to pediatric patients, including those requiring specialized interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in a rehabilitation setting.
• Manage care for patients with tracheostomies, ventilators, and central lines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor vital signs.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in pediatrics is required.
• Must hold a current and active Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from AHA or American Red Cross are required.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.

Work Schedule

This position is for a night shift, working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Travelers must be available to work at least every other holiday.
