Experienced Furniture Framer

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent business in the Tupelo MS area is seeking an experienced framer to join their team! This customer is offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing! 

Furniture Framer Job Summary:

· Pay: will depend on experience 

· Shifts Available:

o 1st shift M-F 7am-until

• Assemble furniture frames according to production specifications and blueprints.
• Measure, cut, position, and secure wood components using hand and power tools.
• Operate pneumatic staple guns, nail guns, saws, and other framing equipment safely.
• Inspect frame components for defects and quality issues before assembly.
• Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and structural integrity of completed frames.
• Perform routine quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Maintain production quotas while adhering to quality standards.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Report equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist in other production areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in furniture framing in a furniture mfg. environment is required, 2 years
• Ability to read tape measures accurately.
• Experience operating hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and moving machinery.
• Ability to work overtime as required to meet production demands.
