Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Reception Services in Albuquerque, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology location, you will create a welcoming, professional first impression while supporting security-related access procedures, visitor management, and communication. You will remain visible at the front desk, help address questions and concerns, and contribute to a secure environment through attentive service. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Serve as the front desk point of contact by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site policies.
- Monitor access activity, visitor logs, and security-related systems from a stationary post; promptly report unusual activity, policy concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and other front desk security-related communications while protecting confidential information.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
