We're a boutique Bay Area civil litigation firm seeking an experienced California attorney with 7+ years of litigation experience to join our team.

You'll manage a diverse civil litigation caseload involving commercial and business disputes, real estate litigation, probate matters, and other complex civil cases, handling matters through all major phases of litigation.

We're looking for an attorney with excellent judgment, strong writing and advocacy skills, and the confidence to independently manage cases while collaborating with colleagues when it matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse civil litigation caseload, ensuring each case is handled with precision and care.
• Develop and execute strategic litigation plans that align with client goals and legal standards.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client advisories.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with clarity and precision.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating effectively on their behalf.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and strategies, fostering a supportive and innovative team environment.
• Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications

• Experience in California civil litigation with a minimum of seven years in practice.
• Ability to independently manage a diverse caseload from inception through trial.
• Proven track record of drafting and arguing dispositive and discovery motions effectively.
• Strong skills in developing case strategies and evaluating settlement options.
• Experience in taking and defending depositions with confidence and precision.
• Ability to appear in court for hearings and trials, demonstrating excellent advocacy skills.
• Familiarity with procedural rules and deadlines to ensure compliance in all cases handled.
