Job Type Full-time Position Dental Assistant Expected Schedule: Full‑Time, 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Essential Responsibilities Prepare patients for dental procedures and take their dental records and vitals. Assist dentists with all dental procedures utilizing four‑handed dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a clean and safe environment. Provide patients with instructions for oral care and post‑treatment procedures. Expose and develop dental radiographs, take impressions and pour dental models. Provide routine operational support such as tracking lab work, maintaining supplies in operatories, laundering staff scrub jackets and other duties as needed. Return patient phone calls, phone in prescriptions and schedule patient appointments. Why UCFS? Dental Assisting Certificate preferred with a minimum of 1‑year of experience required for uncertified candidates. Certificate in Dental Radiology. Infection Control Certification. Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
