Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team at Riverwood Health and Rehabilitation. As a PTA at Riverwood, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and team-oriented clinical environment, providing exceptional care to our patients while promoting their independence and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans in a subacute setting

• Monitor resident progress and report changes to the supervising PT

• Educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal outcomes

Qualifications:

• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• SNF or geriatric experience preferred, but not required

• Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills

• Reliable availability

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
