Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Manager

Role Overview The Cardiac Cath Lab Assistant Nurse Manager oversees patient care, staff management, equipment maintenance, and departmental operations within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Key Responsibilities Manage hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development of staff. Develop and monitor staffing plans, budgets, and operational goals, ensuring adherence to financial targets. Coordinate patient care, creating collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments. Supervise staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective actions. Oversee staff scheduling, payroll, and communication, including staffing needs and overtime management. Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintain equipment, and support departmental efficiency. Lead safety-sensitive tasks, requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (RN required). 2-5 years of nursing experience; 5-10 years preferred. Experience in procedural or critical care nursing preferred; Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology experience is a plus. Must hold BLS/ACLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire. Strong leadership, clinical expertise, and critical thinking skills.
