Autonomous vehicle operations supervisor

Role Overview: The Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing the operations while acting as the liaison between the Client's program managers and vehicle specialists/operators. They manage a team of operators and ensure efficient delivery of the missions requested by the client. Academic Preference & Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred 2 or more years of Operations experience in leading teams. Key responsibilities: Responds to system emergencies; investigates and completes accident reports, incidents, and customer complaints. Coordinates, monitors, and supervises the activities of subordinates. Informs other management personnel regarding operational/personnel problems as appropriate and offers ideas towards resolution. Responds to service problems and investigates and responds to unsafe location/situation reports. Develops and schedules program work plans in accordance with specifications in conjunction with the client’s staff; oversees daily operations and coordinates activities of the program; determines priorities. Maintains a high standard of safety across the program/team. Necessary Skills: Ability to use a computer to generate reports and schedules. Ability to understand and interpret system operating rules, regulations, policies, phases, and routes. Good written and oral communication skills.
