Clinical Trial Operations Intern
Genmab
Genmab seeks a clinical trial operations intern to support process improvement and operational excellence across clinical trial planning and execution. The 10-week summer role involves contributing to projects in process optimization, trial documentation, data analysis, and knowledge management while working cross-functionally with clinical operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to designing compliant processes and ensuring documentation aligns with regulatory standards
- Support building operational tools leveraging AI, PowerBI, or similar software through requirements gathering and testing
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Develop inspection readiness resources by reviewing trial documentation and creating checklists or dashboards
- Organize clinical operations guidance and lessons learned into accessible knowledge management resources
Requirements
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's (junior/senior) or Master's in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Demonstrated ability to manage data, documentation, or process improvement projects
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort with AI tools and/or PowerBI for solving complex problems
