Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting activities.
2. Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
3. Perform account reconciliations and month-end close procedures.
4. Prepare financial reports and provide meaningful insights to management.
5. Monitor financial performance and identify operational or accounting concerns.
6. Support business owners and senior leadership with reporting, analysis, and special projects.
7. Help improve processes, controls, and overall business efficiency.
8. Coordinate and follow through on cross-functional projects.
9. Assist with a variety of operational and administrative responsibilities as needed.
10. Serve as a dependable resource for management and the broader organization.

Qualifications

Required

1. Extensive hands-on accounting experience.
2. Strong knowledge of:
3. 1. Accounts Payable (AP)
   2. Accounts Receivable (AR)
   3. General Ledger Accounting
   4. Account Reconciliations
   5. Financial Reporting
   6. Month-End Close
4. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
7. High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
8. Ability to communicate effectively with management and staff at all levels.

Preferred

1. Experience working in a small to mid-sized privately held company.
2. Experience supporting business owners, executives, or senior management.
3. Broad business operations experience beyond traditional accounting responsibilities.
4. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
