Weekly Pay: $3,364 to $3,547 per week

Responsibilities
- Administer specialty IV therapies, including immunotherapy and chemotherapy, via peripheral or central lines per orders; manage IV access devices per standard guidelines.
- Monitor infusion patients for adverse reactions; observe and document therapy responses and side effects; communicate findings to the referring provider.
- Coordinate and oversee infusion patient referrals, tests, and treatments; schedule and track appointments; maintain accurate documentation in the patient chart.
- Provide patient and family education regarding infusion processes, potential outcomes, and post-discharge care; participate in plan-of-care meetings with the health care team.
- Oversee and support clinic staff to optimize daily infusion workflow; ensure safety, infection control, and adherence to nursing protocols.
- Initiate necessary prior authorizations and collaborate with the health care team to ensure continuity of care; maintain a safe, therapeutic care environment.

Requirements
- Licenses: Current, unrestricted RN license in Alaska or eligible to obtain; Direct Hire must have Alaska license prior to start; agency staff must hold an active Alaska license.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS; chemo-certified; flu vaccine current.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; prior infusion/oncology immunotherapy and chemotherapy experience preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved RN program; education required to obtain a valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in Alaska.
- Skills: Proficient in IV therapy, infusion pumps, central lines (CVC/PICC), patient assessment, and documentation; strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Other: Ability to work in a hospital-based infusion setting; meet required credentialing and background checks; ability to manage high patient volumes and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; capable of standing, walking, and performing patient care activities as described.
