Saw Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization dedicated to producing high-quality components, is seeking a Saw Operator to join their team. As a Saw Operator, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Saw Operator Location: Gadsden, AL Pay Range: $15.00 per hour Shift: 1st shift What's the Job? Operate various saws to cut materials according to detailed specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine precise cutting requirements. Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment, including changing blades for different materials to ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times. What's Needed? Proven experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar manufacturing role. Strong mechanical knowledge with troubleshooting skills for equipment issues. Ability to read a tape measure and use a square accurately. Must be capable of minor welding to hold stock together when cutting multiple pieces. Ability to operate a forklift and unload trucks as needed. What's in it for me?
