Regional Sales Director

Abbott seeks a Regional Sales Director for its Electrophysiology business to lead sales operations, manage a district sales team, and execute strategic plans across a defined geographical area. The role involves overseeing product sales, budget management, customer relationships, and team development within the cardiac medical device market.
Responsibilities
- Direct EP product sales operations and sales team performance within assigned regional territory
- Develop and execute district sales plans, budgets, and targets aligned with business strategy
- Recruit, manage, mentor, and evaluate sales staff; ensure team capability and motivation
- Maintain and develop key customer relationships; support contract negotiations and deal closure
- Create regional sales forecasts and market potential assessments; coordinate reporting with senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent discipline
- 8+ years progressively responsible experience in Tachycardia/Bradycardia or related medical device sales
- Direct sales experience with CRM/EP cardiac products
- Advanced leadership and team management skills
- Direct knowledge of physicians in the CRM/EP medical market
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities
- Proficiency in sales forecasting, budget development, and financial analysis
