As the Member Services Receptionist with the BCBSWY Member Services Team, you will play an essential role in ensuring best-in-class service to our providers, and members of the general public. By stepping into a Member Service Receptionist role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference every day! Help people by responding to questions, research issues they may have, help with payments and connect them with the resources they may need.

Our Member Service Centers are equipped with software-supported call answering and payment systems. Our employees are provided scheduled breaks and meal-times to ensure time to step away, while enabling the team to provide continuous high-quality service.

To be successful in this role, you will need to invest in learning our products and services, be dedicated to customer service, handle in-person contact with people who may be experiencing emotional situations, be comfortable accessing and utilizing multiple systems to respond and research member/provider inquiries and apply solid judgement as to when to escalate if needed.

Minimum qualifications include an earned High School diploma or equivalent; prior experience with accessing multiple database systems is helpful. As a new employee, you will be provided on-the-job training on our systems, products, services, and providing best-in-class customer service skills from our skilled Trainers - plus day-to-day support from dedicated leadership! Our compensation program is reviewed for competitive market match on an annual basis and employees are eligible for annual merit increases. Our positions are all based in Wyoming. Depending on the department and the position, eligible employees may be offered limited In-Office/WFH flexibility (for those positions that are offered limited WFH, there will be a required number of In-Office days per week/month depending on department). Executive level employees are required to reside full-time in Wyoming.

Our Selection Process:

• Confirmation of Wyoming residency, intent to become a Wyoming resident, or reasonable commuter distance if Colorado resident.
• Recruiter Phone Screen.
• Possible Self-Assessment and/or Questionnaire.
• Initial interview with Hiring Manager.
• Possible 2nd Interview with Hiring Manager and/or additional Team members.
• Comprehensive Background Check.
