Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,160–$2,291. Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. No guaranteed hours. This assignment involves direct patient care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, with float to OB service units as volume and acuity require.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients (high, moderate, and low risk) in labor and delivery, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications and interventions as ordered, perform assessments, and document care accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, supporting patient- and family-centered care and informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff; participate in competency training and cross-training across OB services.
- Float among OB units as volume and acuity require; respond to obstetric emergencies and assist with OR/triage processes as needed.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and quality standards in a fast-paced obstetric environment.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience; OR and triage experience highly desirable
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Required (NRP)
- Ability to work across OB service units in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
