Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery in Rochester, NY. This travel temporary assignment begins 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks, working 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,051 to $2,219 per week. Guaranteed hours are not provided. The role focuses on the care of women and healthy newborns, with an emphasis on education and supportive care for mother–baby couples. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for obstetric/postpartum patients and healthy newborns
- Monitor fetal status and respond to monitoring findings, including basic fetal surveillance
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, lactation consultants, fellow nurses, and social workers
- Educate mother–baby couples on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding support
- Administer medications, manage pain, monitor vital signs, and ensure patient safety
- Document care in the electronic medical record and follow infection control protocols

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York
- Two (2) years of postpartum experience
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Fetal monitoring certification preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call per unit need
