Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across the Virginia Beach and Norfolk areas. Multiple openings are available for dedicated professionals ready to make a difference in K-12 educational settings throughout the school year. Assignments are full-time, with approximately 7.33 hours per day, five days a week, serving caseloads within a range of local communities including Chesapeake, Isle of Wight County, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Southampton County, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach.

Candidates must hold a valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are encouraged to apply. You’ll work collaboratively on-site with school teams, helping students achieve meaningful progress in their communication skills.

Desired experience and certifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license for practice in the state (required)
• Eligibility or possession of ASHA CCC or CFY status
• School-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
• Comfort with supporting K-12 students with various communication needs
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for caseloads of K-12 students
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and consult with educators and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with school policies
• Serve multiple campuses as assigned, across designated localities
