In addition to our school partnerships, we also provide comprehensive outpatient therapy services, creating opportunities for collaboration across settings and disciplines. The Position: We are seeking a highly motivated PT or PTA to join our school team part-time . This is a desirable school system outside of the metro Birmingham area. This is an ideal opportunity to join a practice with over 10 years of history delivering therapeutic services in the academic setting. At Child'sPlay, our clinicians enjoy: Industry-leading compensation and benefits Balanced productivity and documentation time expectations Robust training, clinical education, and research opportunities Dedicated peer-to-peer mentorship and support A long-term career path and leadership opportunities Responsibilities: Provide individual therapy services for clients Complete all required documentation for clients Collaborate with Child'sPlay colleagues and school team to discuss progress and recommendations for clients PT only - Perform diagnostic evaluations and document, analyze, and interpret results Collaborate with teachers, special education coordinators, and other services providers to help clients reach their goals Attend IEP meetings to advocate for the clients school based services Participate in our mentorship network as either mentee or mentor Requirements: Licensed to practice physical therapy Pediatric physical therapy experience or other experience working with children in a clinical capacity Interviews at Child'sPlay: We care deeply about our teams and the people who make them up.
