The role involves assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, primarily focusing on orthopedic and sports medicine patients, in a collaborative healthcare setting. The therapist will work under general supervision to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Job Details Position requires a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent qualifying degree), licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, and experience with EPIC electronic medical records system. Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, a minimum of 40 hours per week. Requirements include a minimum of 0 years of experience; preferred candidates have 3 years of outpatient orthopedic experience and knowledge of orthopedic surgeries and post-operative rehabilitation protocols. Responsibilities include performing initial and re-evaluations within the first 60 minutes, developing individualized plans of care with patient input, utilizing appropriate evaluation techniques, and providing treatment aligned with clinical procedures and equipment. The role involves collaborative patient education, documentation, hospital environment management, scheduling, billing responsibilities, and adherence to ethical practices. Certification and continuing education requirements include maintaining licensure, meeting CEU standards, and staying current with industry issues such as AIDS education and medical errors.
