Senior Software Engineer, Trading Services

Salary: $140,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• 6+ years of experience building, testing, deploying, and supporting real-time software applications
• Hands-on professional experience developing backend services in Scala
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform
• Strong collaboration skills, dependable work habits, sharp attention to detail, and solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate clearly to drive issue resolution
• Proven capability to own projects end to end, from design through implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and iteration
• Financial domain knowledge is a plus
• Experience using AI/ML tools or technologies to improve development, performance, or automation is a plus

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems in Scala, using Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Architect, deploy, and support backend applications in a Kubernetes environment with a focus on scalability, availability, and resilience
• Expand and refine microservices architecture for trading applications to improve modularity and maintainability
• Develop distributed systems that meet high-performance, low-latency trading requirements
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to observe backend performance in real time
• Connect backend services to market data feeds to ensure accurate and timely trading data
• Partner with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, engineers, and project managers to deliver complete trading solutions
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for backend systems, Kubernetes setups, and deployment processes
