Customer Service RepresentativeJoin Mazza Recycling as a Customer Service Representative supporting customers with waste disposal, recycling, scrap metal, and container services. In this role, you will answer questions, explain service options and pricing, process orders and payments, and help coordinate container deliveries and removals. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will work closely with Sales, Billing, Accounting, and Dispatch to keep customer information accurate and service requests moving smoothly. Mazza offers a family-friendly culture and professional development opportunities.ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to customer calls and emails about service options, pricing, recycling requirements, and materials accepted at Mazza facilities.Recommend appropriate services and introduce customers to additional Mazza offerings that meet their needs.Coordinate roll-off container deliveries and removals and front-end services, keeping customers informed about delays and service updates.Enter roll-off orders in AMCS accurately, including debris type, customer information, pricing, and container numbers.Track container locations, verify inventory, and assist Dispatch with container availability and scheduling.Follow up with customers who have containers for extended periods to support timely turnover, and contact customers about container damage as directed by leadership.Collect required account setup paperwork, contracts, and tax documentation; coordinate with Billing and Accounting to verify records and support credit checks.Process credit card payments for roll-off customers.Monitor email throughout office hours for time-sensitive requests and updates, and escalate customer concerns to the appropriate team or manager.Collaborate with the Sales Manager for Commercial & Industrial services and other internal teams to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.QualificationsCustomer service experience required.Strong computer and technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work every other Saturday.At least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.Associate's degree in Business Administration preferred, not required.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision benefits.401(k) with company match.Paid time off and sick time.Annual salary increases.Family-friendly culture.Professional development opportunities within Mazza Recycling's customer-facing operations.Mazza Recycling Services and Affiliates celebrate diversity and do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
