Details Acute care setting on a Trauma/Med Surg telemetry unit within a Level 1 Trauma facility Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday Typical patient ratios of 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights May float to similar Med Surg and Telemetry units within the facility Uses EPIC EMR Requirements Active SD or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required BSN not required Additional Information Provide individualized nursing care using the full nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Coordinate and manage care for patients with complex needs while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team Deliver patient and family education and communicate effectively across care teams Promote a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors Navy blue scrubs required Must badge in and out at the facility for each shift Candidates with previous employment at any Sanford Health location must disclose this for review Local candidates may be considered depending on the department American Traveler Job ID P-750389.
