Details Trauma/Med-Surg Telemetry unit in a Level 1 trauma acute care hospital 13-week assignment with 12-hour night shifts Every other weekend and holiday rotation required Typical patient ratios of 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights May float to similar Med-Surg and Telemetry units within the facility Uses EPIC EMR system Requirements Active SD or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required BSN not required for this position Prior telemetry and Med-Surg nursing experience preferred given unit type Additional Information Provide individualized nursing care utilizing the full nursing process from assessment through evaluation Coordinate and manage care for patients with complex needs in collaboration with an inter-professional care team Perform age-specific patient assessments, education, triage, and nursing interventions Promote a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors Navy blue scrubs required All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility Candidates with prior employment at any Sanford Health location must disclose this for review, and must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission Local candidates may be considered, though a reduced rate may apply for those within 80 miles of the facility American Traveler Job ID P-750392.
