• Create individualized treatment plans that reflect both immediate objectives and long-term goals relating to communication and swallowing.
• Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions concentrating on various facets like communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families to cultivate comprehensive care plans.
• Facilitate education sessions for patients and their families to bolster progress beyond clinical facilities.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient therapy evaluations, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout each patient's therapeutic journey.
• Uphold meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as organizational policies.
• Participate in ongoing education to stay strategic on advancements in the Speech-Language Pathology field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or active ASHA certification.

Certifications Required

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Mandatory Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
