Senior Project Manager The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing and ensuring site and office safety, and has strategic knowledge of day‑to‑day execution for assigned projects, including managing, coordinating, and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, while adhering to Webcor’s quality standards and client satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Enforce safety on the job site by implementing, enforcing, and effectively managing Webcor’s safety policy and procedures. Identify and escalate project issues in a timely manner and see issues through to resolution, collaborating with clients and subcontractors, with minimal director‑level involvement. Manage and publish the project schedule on a regular basis. Effectively lead, develop, and mentor team members; provide timely, regular feedback. Promote a positive team culture and environment. Responsible for ongoing analysis of project buyout, savings, and contingencies; schedule buyout into the overall project schedule and ensure milestones are met. Negotiate, analyze, and prepare subcontracts, purchase order agreements, and cost‑control budgets. Manage all document control of RFI submittals, change orders, correspondence, permits, drawings, specs, and reports in a systematic and traceable manner. Responsible for all aspects of the cost report and complete timely submission of cost reports; effectively communicate risk and projections to senior management. Control the budget and forecast associated with the project and negotiate best pricing. Maintain a delay log in conjunction with the Construction Manager and insert delays into the master schedule, providing weekly notices to the owner. Develop and implement a QA/QC program and oversee execution of the Webcor Punch List Program. Participate in pursuits as required. Regularly review the project staff resource plan and provide feedback to project executives as warranted. Input adjustments in the workforce planning tool when needed. Technical Skills and Knowledge Required Thorough knowledge of prime contract and contract types, including lump sum, GMP, hard bid, negotiated, design‑build, etc. Strategic knowledge of cost control, budgeting, billing, and forecasting. Familiarity with all aspects of building, including site work, structure, finishes, envelope, MEPS. Behavioral Competencies Required Advanced ability to effectively lead, manage, and mentor staff. Self‑starter. Exhibits managerial courage. Education and Experience Required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Typically, 10 years managing complex construction projects, experience with exteriors and facades required. LEED AP and/or GA preferred. OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred). If not already certified, Webcor will provide training. Physical Requirements Performance of required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on‑site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud. Pay Range of base pay is $160,000 – $193,500. Actual pay is based on individual skill level and experience.
