HR Business Partner
Abilene, TX – Onsite

Summary:
The HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic HR partner to plant leaders and teammates within a manufacturing environment. This role will support key employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, retention, interviewing, recruiting, talent development, and employee engagement. The HR Business Partner will also lead complex HR projects, improve processes, collaborate with plant leadership, and help translate business objectives into effective HR strategies and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with plant leaders and teammates to address HR needs and support business objectives.
- Manage and support onboarding, retention, interviewing, and recruiting activities.
- Apply a broad HR generalist background across multiple areas of human resources.
- Lead complex, high-impact HR projects and processes from planning through completion with limited oversight.
- Define project scope, establish milestones, monitor progress, and ensure successful outcomes.
- Mentor junior HR professionals and delegate work based on individual capabilities.
- Review work for quality and support a strong professional development environment.
- Collaborate on strategic operational roadmaps and translate high-level objectives into actionable plans.
- Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies or tactics as needed.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and use data analysis to support process-improvement recommendations.
- Champion automation and process enhancements that improve HR operations.
- Evaluate and redesign existing SOPs and HR processes to address evolving business needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Use strong communication and negotiation skills to align expectations and promote effective collaboration.
- Support a positive and productive relationship between HR, plant leadership, and employees.

Required Qualifications:
- Generalist HR background with experience across multiple HR functions.
- Manufacturing industry experience is required.
- Strong project leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Abilene, TX.
- Hands-on experience with: Onboarding, Employee retention, Interviewing, Recruiting, Working directly with plant leaders, Supporting teammates/employees

Preferred / Additional Qualifications:
- Experience leading complex HR projects.
- Experience mentoring junior HR professionals.
- Experience with HR process improvement, automation, and SOP redesign.
- Experience working with KPIs and data-driven HR initiatives.
- Experience supporting strategic planning and operational roadmaps.
