This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of servers, networks, and systems that support daily business operations.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve outages to minimize downtime.Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control across systems (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.).Manage and maintain group policies.Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, and patch management.Implement and maintain security best practices, including antivirus, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanning.Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) including provisioning, scaling.Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Provide tier 2/3 technical support and escalation for end-user issues.Collaborate with IT and development teams on infrastructure projects and upgrades.Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours system emergencies.Other duties as assigned.On-Call Rotation and After-Hours SupportThis position participates in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule, with each employee assigned to an on-call period of one week approximately every eight weeks. During the assigned on-call week, the employee must remain available and reachable 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and be prepared to respond to and/or troubleshoot critical issues as needed.In addition to the scheduled on-call rotation, employees may occasionally be contacted outside of normal business hours to assist with issues escalated by Help Desk staff.
