Position Overview:

Haven Treatment Center is actively hiring  Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) to join our growing behavioral health team serving children and adolescents ages 5–17.

We are seeking experienced, compassionate clinicians who thrive in a collaborative treatment environment and are passionate about helping children and families during some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

The LMFT provides counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, and families in a trauma-informed, inpatient behavioral health setting. This role supports clients in understanding and navigating their interpersonal relationships as part of their mental health recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical needs, diagnosis, and patient goals.
• Provide direct therapeutic services including individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including nursing, medical, case management, and support staff—to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR), in compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, and facility standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings and contribute to case reviews, discharge planning, and clinical updates.
• Support patient transitions by contributing to discharge planning, continuity of care, and coordination with external providers or community-based services.
• Adhere to ethical, professional, and legal standards in the delivery of behavioral health services.
• Participate in clinical supervision, continuing education, and training to remain current with best practices and licensure requirements.
• Contribute to a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive therapeutic environment.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and uphold the mission, vision, and values of Haven Treatment Center.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
• Washington State LMFT license in good standing.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Must pass a TB test, background check, and drug screening prior to employment.
• Pass EHR/EMR Tebra training within 30 days of orientation.
• With a background in mental health or healthcare.
