Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient conditions.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the EPIC charting system.
• Titrate cardiac drips and perform ventilator troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with healthcare support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining unit-specific patient ratios.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Nebraska.
• Minimum of one year of ICU experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting ECG strips from GE monitors.
• Driver's license is necessary for distance verification from the facility.
