Special Education Teacher - Early Childhood

Special Education Teacher – Early Childhood AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Special Education Teacher that is available for the 2025/2026 school year. Qualifications Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certification (ESA) with appropriate endorsement. Proficiency in the subject area; experience with case management, paperwork, compliance, and IEPs. At least one year of teaching experience with students with a variety of disabilities, including students with behavior disorders and other learning and cognitive delays (preferred). Strong communication and organizational skills. Initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Physical capacity to stand or sit for extended periods, see/read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids, hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone, speak in audible tones; understand and follow oral and written instructions. May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment or materials up to approximately 40 pounds. Key Responsibilities Support students with special education needs in a school setting. Deliver small-group and individualized instruction. Manage IEPs and document student progress. Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families. Maintain compliance with district and state requirements. Contract Details Contract through the school year – 37.5 to 40 hours per week; follows the academic district calendar. Salary $1,800 – $1,850 per week. Benefits Competitive Benefits Package.
