Food Pantry Coordinator

OVERVIEW:

The role of the Social Services Coordinator is to supervise social service volunteers and maintain a proficient level of social services provided by the Clovis Corps. They are responsible for the overall condition and operation of our Social Services, inside and out.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and direct clients and visitors
• Oversee volunteers
• Develop and maintain a volunteer database
• Provide social services to clients
• Oversee Food pantry
• Prepare and distribute food boxes and bags
• Assist with loading and unloading of food donations
• Break down and stack all cardboard
• Coordinate holiday projects
• Maintain client’s files
• Report stats to appropriate programs and agencies
• Perform general clerical duties
• Attend Community Agency Meetings
• Attend staff and Advisory Council meetings, training, and conferences
• Conduct assessments
• Assist with budget process for the social services department
• Other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• CA driver’s license (required)
• Experience with data entry
• Experience in social services
• Experience with Microsoft programs

• Ability to lead

• Great communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 25.lbs (Food pantry boxes)
