Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success across diverse populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop targeted intervention strategies
• Implement individualized and group therapy plans to support academic access, fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and behavior management
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely records as required by district and state standards
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate carryover of strategies within classroom and home environments
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to promote optimal outcomes
• Serve as a trusted resource, providing guidance on adaptive equipment and classroom modifications when needed
